Sous Vide Egg Bites in Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • 4-5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese or ricotta
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tsp garlic powder

Preparation

  1. Place all base ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Place a little of your optional ingredients into the bottom of each well.

  3. Pour base mixture into each well until about half full.

  4. Add more optional ingredients if using and cover with more egg base until the well is almost full.

  5. Cover with foil or parchment.

  6. Add a cup of water into your Instant Pot.

  7. Place the covered pan into the Instant Pot and seal the cover.

  8. Set the top valve to sealing.

  9. Press the steam button and set timer to 10 minutes.

  10. After timer beeps, allow natural release for 5-10 minutes.

  11. Manually quick release any leftover pressure.

  12. Be careful when removing the mold due to built-up steam that could cause burns.

  13. Enjoy the egg bites.
