Turmeric and Ginger Shortbread Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 350g plain flour
  • 300g vegan butter (I use @bakewithstork )
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Preparation

  1. Put the ingredients into a food processor and whizz until it is just starting to clump together. Do not over mix.

  2. Press the dough together and roll out on a floured surface to about 3mm thick.

  3. Cut out with a 6cm cutter and place on a lined baking tray.

  4. Bake at 180C for 8-10 minutes or until just starting to turn golden.

  5. Cool on wire racks.
