Morning Tonic


  • 1 cup filtered water 1-inch fresh ginger root
  • thinly sliced 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Dash of cayenne pepper Fresh parsley (optional)


  1. Bring water to a boil

  2. Add sliced ginger, lemon juice and hot water to a mug

  3. Pour hot water into the mug and allow to steep for 5 minutes

  4. Add a dash of cayenne, and parsley (if using)
