Refreshing Morning Tonic with Ginger Lemon and Cayenne
Ingredients
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1-inch fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Dash of cayenne pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation
Bring water to a boil.
Add sliced ginger, lemon juice and hot water to a mug.
Pour hot water into the mug and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
Add a dash of cayenne, and parsley (if using).
