Vegan Gooey Chocolate Slice Dessert
Ingredients
Chocolate biscuit base
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of cashews
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate protein powder
- 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Chocolate filling
- 200g medjool dates
- 1 tsp of the leftover date water
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate protein powder
- 1 teaspoon of cacao powder
Chocolate top
- 100g of vegan cooking chocolate
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
Preparation
Soak 200g medjool dates for 20 minutes in boiling water and remove pips.
Combine chocolate biscuit base ingredients in a blender.
Press the mixture into a tin and place in the freezer.
Clean the blender.
Combine chocolate filling ingredients in a blender.
Spread the filling onto the biscuit base and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
Melt chocolate top ingredients together.
Pour onto the chocolate filling and place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before cutting.
