Simple Vegan Gluten-Free Brownies for Gatherings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup of apple sauce
  • 1/2 Cup cocoa
  • 1 Cup sugar (half brown, half white)
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 Cup flour (substitute with GF for gluten-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

  2. Combine apple sauce and sifted cocoa

  3. Mix in the sugar

  4. Mash banana and add to mixture

  5. Add vanilla, flour and salt and combine

  6. Scoop mixture into a 20x20 baking tin lined with baking paper and spread

  7. Add topping such as raspberries, almonds, coconut, chocolate chips, or anything desired

  8. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes

  9. Let the brownie cool down

  10. Eat and enjoy
