Blistered Shishito Peppers

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons cooking fat of choice
  • 12 ounces shishito peppers
  • pinch of sea salt
  • coarse sea salt, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Heat the cooking fat in a large skillet over high heat

  2. Add the peppers, season lightly with salt, and sauté until charred, 4 to 5 minutes

  3. Finish with coarse sea salt before serving
