Spicy Ginger Chocolate Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Add ingredients to a saucepan.

  2. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer, allowing oats to thicken to desired consistency.

  3. Stir to make sure everything is well combined and remove from heat.

  4. Top with all your favorite toppings.
