Protein-Packed Sattu Buttermilk Drink

Ingredients

Sattu powder

  • 1/2 cup roasted chana
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 small bunch mint leaves

Sattu chaas

  • 1 cup curd
  • black salt to taste
  • roasted cumin seeds powder to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Sattu powder
  • water as required

Preparation

  1. Remove the skin of the roasted chana and place it in a blender jar.

  2. Add a small piece of ginger, 1 green chili, and a small bunch of mint leaves to the blender.

  3. Grind everything to make a fine powder.

  4. Store the Sattu powder in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

  5. In a blender jar, add 1 cup of curd.

  6. Add black salt and roasted cumin seeds powder to taste.

  7. Add 2 tablespoons of the prepared Sattu powder.

  8. Add water as required to achieve the desired consistency.

  9. Blend everything together until smooth.

  10. Serve the Sattu chaas chilled.
