Simple Jaggery Herbal Tea Drink
Ingredients
- 4.5 cups water
- 2 teaspoons tea leaves or 2 tea bags
- 1/3 cup jaggery
- 2-3 mint leaves
- 1/4 piece ginger
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 sprigs rosemary
Preparation
In a large pan, add water, ginger, and tea leaves. Bring to a boil until desired color and flavor are achieved, then remove from heat.
Add jaggery and lemon juice, and mix well.
Add mint leaves and rosemary sprigs.
Strain the tea using a strainer.
Transfer to a pitcher or serve in glasses with ice, fresh mint leaves, rosemary sprigs, and lime slices.
