Refreshing Sattu Buttermilk Summer Drink

Ingredients

Sattu powder

  • 1/2 cup roasted chana
  • small piece of ginger
  • 1 green chilli
  • small bunch of mint leaves

Sattu chaas

  • 1 cup curd
  • some black salt
  • roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sattu powder
  • water as required

Preparation

  1. Take 1/2 cup roasted chana

  2. Remove the skin of roasted chana and place it in a blender jar

  3. Add a small piece of ginger to the blender

  4. Add 1 green chilli to the blender

  5. Add a small bunch of mint leaves to the blender

  6. Grind everything to make a powder

  7. The Sattu powder is ready and can be stored for up to 10 days in the fridge

  8. In a blender jar, add 1 cup curd

  9. Add some black salt and roasted cumin seeds powder

  10. Add 2 tablespoons of Sattu powder

  11. Add water as required

  12. Blend everything together

  13. The Sattu chaas is ready, serve it chilled
