Sweet Potato Toasts with Nut Butter Toppings
Ingredients
- 1 small sweet potato, cut into 1.5cm-2cm thick slices
- Cinnamon
- Sea salt
- 2 tablespoons nut butter of choice
- Chopped fruit of choice
- Cacao nibs (optional)
- Bee pollen (optional)
- Maple syrup (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 220°C.
Place sweet potato slices on a lined baking tray and sprinkle with cinnamon and a dash of sea salt.
Bake for 20 minutes, then turn and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden, being careful not to burn.
Remove from oven and spread nut butter over the top, then add toppings of choice such as chopped fruit, cacao nibs, bee pollen, and maple syrup.
