Banana Bread Toasts with Seed Butter and Banana

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed (around 280 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 150 g applesauce
  • 280 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • seed or nut butter
  • banana slices

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg with the sugar. Add the applesauce to the egg mixture and combine it well. Next, add the pre-sieved flour and the baking powder, and mix it thoroughly. Add the mashed bananas into the bowl. Preheat your oven to 180°C

  2. Preheat your oven to 180°C

  3. Line your banana bread pan with some parchment paper. Pour the mixture in and spread it evenly across the pan

  4. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until it's fully cooked. Bring it out of the oven and set it on a rack to cool down

  5. To make the toasts, slice your banana bread, spread some seed butter on top and add some banana slices
