Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (used gluten-free)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (used coconut)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 eggs
Swirl
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (used coconut)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp almond milk
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F and grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients, then stir in the dry ingredients.
Spread about half of the batter in the loaf pan, top with swirl mixture, add remaining batter on top, and use a knife to swirl it all around.
Bake for 40 minutes and let cool before cutting into slices. Enjoy!
Tips
Optional icing can be made by mixing powdered sugar with water.
