Cream Cheese and Garlic Mushroom Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Bread slices
  • @nushfoods cream cheese or smashed avocado

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, a sprinkle of garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add 1 tbsp of water to create a marinade.

  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the sliced mushrooms.

  3. Pour the prepared marinade over the mushrooms and stir-fry until the mushrooms are tender and coated in the sauce.

  4. Toast slices of bread and spread a generous layer of @nushfoods cream cheese or smashed avocado on each slice.

  5. Spoon the garlic mushrooms over the cream cheese or avocado-covered bread slices.
