Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

Chicken marinade

  • 10 chicken wings, cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped

Honey garlic sauce

  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Garnish

  • Parsley, optional, for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. Mix the chicken wings with all the marinade ingredients and let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour in a covered container.

  2. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease with butter, then grill the chicken wings, turning occasionally, until golden brown.

  3. In a separate pan, combine all the sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat until the sauce boils and slightly thickens.

  4. Allow the sauce to cool, then add the grilled chicken wings and stir until evenly coated.

  5. Serve sprinkled with parsley, if desired.
