Open Sausage and Bean Melt
Ingredients
- puff pastry
- half a tin of baked beans
- vegetarian sausages
- stripey Jack cheese
- 1 egg
Seasonings
- sea salt
- chives
- chilli flakes
Preparation
Score the puff pastry around 2cm all round the edge.
Prick the middle of the pastry with a fork.
Fold the corners in and brush with beaten egg.
Cut up the vegetarian sausages.
Mix the sausages with half a tin of baked beans.
Top the pastry with the bean and sausage mixture and stripey Jack cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Seasoning
Sprinkle with sea salt, chives, and chilli flakes.
