Cheese Omelette with Cheddar and Herbs
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- A knob of butter
- 60g extra mature cheddar cheese
- Sea salt
- Chives
- Chilli flakes
Preparation
Beat the eggs.
Melt the butter in a pan, such as a wok or frying pan.
Add the beaten eggs and stir for the first few seconds to achieve a thicker omelette.
Cook on one side until almost completely done.
Add the cheddar cheese and fold the omelette.
Cover with a lid and cook until the cheese melts and the omelette is fully cooked.
Season with sea salt, chives, and chilli flakes.
Tips
Stirring the eggs initially helps create a thicker texture as preferred.
A wok can be substituted with a frying pan for the same results.
