Homemade Strawberry Jam Pockets
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon jam or fruit purée
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or low-fat cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon sugar or sweetener
Preparation
Place two slices of bread on a chopping board and place a spoonful of jam in the centre of one slice.
Put the second slice on top and use the bottom of a mug, glass, or cookie cutter to cut out a round circle.
Pinch the edges down to make a pocket.
Put oil in a hot frying pan and then add the doughnut, flip until golden.
Remove the doughnut from the pan and roll in sugar or sweetener.
