Smashed Chickpea Gyro
Ingredients
- 1- 15oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
In a large bowl, mash chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well
Serve in pita bread with desired toppings
I like it best with Tzatziki sauce and Greek salad
