Turmeric Granola Breakfast Jars

Ingredients

Granola

  • 200 g oats
  • 60 g coconut flakes
  • 60 g almonds, chopped
  • 20 g puffed amaranth
  • 30 g coconut blossom sugar
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 50 ml coconut oil, melted
  • 40 ml water
  • 80 g banana chips

Breakfast jar components

  • Yogurt
  • Strawberries
  • Gooseberries

Preparation

Granola

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Mix all dry ingredients except banana chips in a big mixing bowl.

  2. Add water and coconut oil to the dry ingredients and mix until there are no dry parts left.

  3. Spread granola onto a baking paper lined baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the granola has a golden brown color. To ensure equal toasting, rotate the baking sheet after 10 minutes.

  4. Let granola cool down completely on the baking sheet before transferring to a jar.

Assembly

  1. In a jar, layer yogurt, strawberries, gooseberries, and the prepared granola.
