Turmeric Granola Breakfast Jars
Ingredients
Granola
- 200 g oats
- 60 g coconut flakes
- 60 g almonds, chopped
- 20 g puffed amaranth
- 30 g coconut blossom sugar
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 50 ml coconut oil, melted
- 40 ml water
- 80 g banana chips
Breakfast jar components
- Yogurt
- Strawberries
- Gooseberries
Preparation
Granola
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Mix all dry ingredients except banana chips in a big mixing bowl.
Add water and coconut oil to the dry ingredients and mix until there are no dry parts left.
Spread granola onto a baking paper lined baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the granola has a golden brown color. To ensure equal toasting, rotate the baking sheet after 10 minutes.
Let granola cool down completely on the baking sheet before transferring to a jar.
Assembly
In a jar, layer yogurt, strawberries, gooseberries, and the prepared granola.
