Vegan Doughnuts with Cacao and Sweet Potato

Ingredients

  • 50 g water
  • 5 g chia seeds (soak for 15 minutes)
  • 80 g oat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup stevia or coconut sugar
  • 1 small sweet potato, steamed, peeled, and mashed

Preparation

  1. Soak the chia seeds in water for 15 minutes to create a chia mixture

  2. Prepare the sweet potato by steaming or boiling, then peel and mash it

  3. Mix the dry ingredients together and add the chia mixture.

  4. Add the mashed sweet potato and knead until a solid dough forms that does not disintegrate.

  5. Refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes.

  6. Shape the dough into doughnut forms.

  7. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, flipping after 5 minutes to cook each side.
