Golden Turmeric Lattes with Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) almond milk, or other plant-based milk of choice
- 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp agave
- 2 pods cardamom
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 3 pepper corns
Preparation
In a saucepan add your almond milk and water. Bring to a simmer. Add turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and agave. Whisk to combine. Add cardamom pods, cinnamon stick and pepper corns. Simmer milk for 10 minutes.
Remove cardamom and cinnamon. Pour latte through a mesh sieve/strainer into two cups to catch peppercorns, and ensure latte is smooth in consistency.
