Golden Turmeric Lattes with Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) almond milk, or other plant-based milk of choice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp agave
  • 2 pods cardamom
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3 pepper corns

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan add your almond milk and water. Bring to a simmer. Add turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and agave. Whisk to combine. Add cardamom pods, cinnamon stick and pepper corns. Simmer milk for 10 minutes.

  2. Remove cardamom and cinnamon. Pour latte through a mesh sieve/strainer into two cups to catch peppercorns, and ensure latte is smooth in consistency.
