Cozy Golden Turmeric Latte Drink

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) almond milk, or other plant-based milk of choice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp agave
  • 2 pods cardamom
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3 pepper corns

Preparation

  1. This drink is cozy and warming for cold weather mornings and evenings, packed with antioxidants for a warm wellness boost.

  2. In a saucepan, add almond milk and water. Bring to a simmer. Add turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and agave. Whisk to combine. Add cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and pepper corns. Simmer milk for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove cardamom and cinnamon. Pour latte through a mesh sieve or strainer into two cups to catch peppercorns and ensure a smooth consistency.
