Oil-Free Super Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flax meal mixed with 4 tbsp water)
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1/8 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup oat milk or any dairy-free milk
  • 1/3 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup lucuma or coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seed powder or protein powder of choice
  • 2 tbsp cacao
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pink sea salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F

  2. Mix flax egg and mashed banana in a large bowl.

  3. Add maple, vanilla, almond butter, and milk and mix until creamy.

  4. Stir in dry ingredients except chips, until batter forms, it will be creamy batter.

  5. Fold in half of the chocolate chips.

  6. Pour into a 8x8 or 8x4 tray, lined or oiled.

  7. Bake at 350 for 17-20 minutes.
