Classic French Apple Beignet
Ingredients
- 3 apples
- 100 grams self rising flour
- 1 egg
- 70 ml milk
- 30 grams butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cinnamon + sugar, for dusting
Preparation
Mix the self-rising flour, egg, milk, and melted butter to make a batter.
Slice the apples into thin pieces.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Dip the apple slices in the batter and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove from oil, drain excess oil, and dust with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
