Creamy Chunky Garlic Hummus Delight
Ingredients
- 1 can of garbanzo beans
- 2 TBSP tahini
- juice of 1 small lemon
- 1 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- sprinkle of cayenne
- 1 TBSP EVOO
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
Preparation
Drain about half the liquid from the can of garbanzo beans and do not rinse, then add all ingredients to a food processor with the S-blade inserted; do not use a blender.
Use the pulse setting to do 8-10 quick pulses to create the perfect chunky but creamy texture; do not blend on high speed.
Let the hummus sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow flavors to combine.
Serve with fresh veggies or crackers of choice.
