Creamy Chunky Garlic Hummus Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 can of garbanzo beans
  • 2 TBSP tahini
  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • sprinkle of cayenne
  • 1 TBSP EVOO
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Drain about half the liquid from the can of garbanzo beans and do not rinse, then add all ingredients to a food processor with the S-blade inserted; do not use a blender.

  2. Use the pulse setting to do 8-10 quick pulses to create the perfect chunky but creamy texture; do not blend on high speed.

  3. Let the hummus sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow flavors to combine.

  4. Serve with fresh veggies or crackers of choice.
