Crispy Chocolate Cookies Without Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • vanilla
  • salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 7 grams baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the egg with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt until the mixture whitens.

  2. Add 1 cup of vegetable oil and mix well.

  3. Add 1 cup of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.

  4. Then add 1 cup of flour and 7 grams of baking powder.

  5. Finally, stir in 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips.

  6. Let the mixture rest until it slightly absorbs moisture.

  7. Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly.

  8. Preheat the oven to 200°C with heat primarily on top.

  9. Bake until the surface cracks, then move to the bottom rack for about 5 minutes, ensuring total baking time does not exceed 10 minutes.
