Crispy Chocolate Cookies Without Butter
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- vanilla
- salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup flour
- 7 grams baking powder
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the egg with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt until the mixture whitens.
Add 1 cup of vegetable oil and mix well.
Add 1 cup of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Then add 1 cup of flour and 7 grams of baking powder.
Finally, stir in 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips.
Let the mixture rest until it slightly absorbs moisture.
Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly.
Preheat the oven to 200°C with heat primarily on top.
Bake until the surface cracks, then move to the bottom rack for about 5 minutes, ensuring total baking time does not exceed 10 minutes.
