Dreamy Dragonfruit Milkshake
Ingredients
- 1 dragon fruit, skin removed
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup fresh almond milk, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup organic desiccated coconut
- 3 drops pure vanilla essence or 1 vanilla bean
- 1 cup ice cubes
Preparation
Remove the skin from the dragon fruit.
Peel and slice the banana, then freeze it until firm.
Add all ingredients in the order listed to a blender.
Blend for 30-60 seconds until you achieve a foamy, milkshake consistency.
Serve in high glasses with a straw and optionally sprinkle extra desiccated coconut.
Notes
Dragonfruit is rich in vitamin C, B vitamins, iron, calcium, and phosphorus, and high in fiber to aid digestion.
This recipe is low FODMAP and vegan, ideal for those with dietary restrictions.
