Homemade Vegan Bagel Bites
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup thick dairy-free yogurt (may need more depending on the water content of the yogurt)
- 1 block Violife Cream Cheese Block
Toppings
- everything seasoning
- Violife Plant Butter
Preparation
To a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and yogurt. Knead it together with your hands until it forms a dough ball.
Cut the dough ball into 8 equal parts. Roll each into a ball and then flatten into a disk.
Take a block of Violife Cream Cheese and cut it into 8 equal squares. Place each square inside the dough disk. Enclose the dough around the cream cheese block and roll it into a ball. Then place on a baking sheet.
Coat the top of each bagel bite with melted vegan butter and sprinkle a generous amount of everything seasoning.
Bake the bites for 20-25 minutes at 350F. Give them plenty of time to cool off so the vegan cream cheese can solidify again.
