Vegan Cinnamon French Toast Breakfast
Ingredients
- Vegan bread (3-4 slices)
- 1 tbsp flax meal
- 1/2 cup nut milk
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Cinnamon (to taste)
- Sprinkle of sea salt
- 1 baby banana
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Macadamia nuts
- Chocolate granola butter
- Chocolate lovers superfood mix
- Pure maple syrup
Preparation
If bread is frozen, thaw it first or toast it lightly.
In a large shallow bowl, stir together the dipping mixture: 1 tbsp flax meal, 1/2 cup nut milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 tsp vanilla, cinnamon, and sea salt.
Dip each side of the bread in the mixture.
Transfer to an oiled and warmed cast iron skillet on medium heat.
Flip after 1-2 minutes and cook until golden brown.
Repeat for remaining slices.
Slice the baby banana and sauté in 1 tsp coconut oil and cinnamon until golden.
Top the French toast with sautéed banana, macadamia nuts, chocolate granola butter, chocolate lovers mix, and pure maple syrup.
