Mastic Cardamom Milk Pudding
Ingredients
- 5 mastic cloves
- 4 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup starch
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 cup cream
Garnishes
- pomegranate
- dried rose
- coconut
Preparation
Dissolve the starch in a small amount of milk to make a smooth mixture
In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk with sugar over medium heat until warm
Gradually add the starch mixture to the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps
Cook the mixture while stirring until it thickens and comes to a boil
Remove from heat and stir in the ground cardamom, mastic cloves, and rose water
Add the cream and mix well until fully incorporated
Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes and refrigerate until set
Serve chilled, garnished with pomegranate, dried rose, and coconut
