Easy Almond Butter Miso Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon white miso
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Hot water as needed

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Add a little hot water, about a teaspoon at a time, until you get the desired consistency. I used about 1.5 tablespoons in total.

Tips

  1. For a spicy version, add sriracha to taste.

  2. Lemon juice can be substituted with orange juice.
