Simple Broccoli Pesto with Basil and Nuts
Ingredients
- Steamed broccoli florets
- Pine nuts
- Fresh basil
- Olive oil (garlic infused)
- Lemon juice (a little)
- Salt and pepper (a pinch)
Preparation
Steam the broccoli florets very well and remove as much stalk as possible to make it easier to digest.
Blend the steamed broccoli with pine nuts, fresh basil, garlic-infused olive oil, a little lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Adjust measurements as you go to achieve the desired texture.
Tips
Broccoli is low FODMAP in servings up to 1/2 cup cooked, which may help reduce bloating for some people.
