Vegan Black Bean Hummus Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz can black beans (1 1/2 cups if prepared from dried)
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño (roasted)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse the black beans if using canned.

  2. In a food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve.
