Warming Baked Oats Breakfast Treat

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 flax egg, whisked
  • 50mL milk of choice (I used almond)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp psyllium husk

Preparation

  1. Mix all these ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a ramekin.

  2. Cook in a 180°C oven for about 20 minutes or until slightly golden on top.

Tips

  1. Top with raspberries, stewed rhubarb, and peanut butter for added flavor.

  2. Rhubarb is a low-calorie vegetable rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, often used in sweet dishes despite being a herb.
