Warming Baked Oats Breakfast Treat
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 flax egg, whisked
- 50mL milk of choice (I used almond)
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp psyllium husk
Preparation
Mix all these ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a ramekin.
Cook in a 180°C oven for about 20 minutes or until slightly golden on top.
Tips
Top with raspberries, stewed rhubarb, and peanut butter for added flavor.
Rhubarb is a low-calorie vegetable rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, often used in sweet dishes despite being a herb.
