Flax Egg Substitute for Egg-Free Baking
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 3 tablespoons water
Preparation
Combine 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water and let it set for 5-10 minutes until it thickens.
Tips
Flax eggs are great binders and work best for quick breads, brownies, and muffins.
Not recommended for white cakes as it may darken the batter.
