Gluten-Free Buckwheat Almond Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 egg and 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt

Preparation

  1. Beat all the dry ingredients together.

  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix well until no lumps remain.

  3. Pour the mixture into a hot waffle iron greased with coconut oil and cook.

Tips

  1. If you do not have a waffle iron, make them as pancakes in a skillet.

  2. The flours can be replaced with others you have available.
