Vegan Gluten-Free Turmeric Protein Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
  • 3 tbsp vegan vanilla protein @mattissonhealthstyle
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Optional toppings

  • Toppings of your choice

Preparation

  1. Mix the buckwheat flour, protein powder, turmeric, banana, baking powder, and salt in a blender until it forms a thick mixture.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the almond milk and apple cider vinegar and add it to the batter.

  3. Heat the waffle iron and grease it with some oil.

  4. Cook the waffles for 4 minutes and repeat until the batter is used up.

  5. Finish with your favorite toppings.

  1. This recipe serves 2-3 people and is ready in 20 minutes.
