Vegan Gluten-Free Turmeric Protein Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
- 3 tbsp vegan vanilla protein @mattissonhealthstyle
- 1 small banana
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Optional toppings
- Toppings of your choice
Preparation
Mix the buckwheat flour, protein powder, turmeric, banana, baking powder, and salt in a blender until it forms a thick mixture.
In a separate bowl, mix the almond milk and apple cider vinegar and add it to the batter.
Heat the waffle iron and grease it with some oil.
Cook the waffles for 4 minutes and repeat until the batter is used up.
Finish with your favorite toppings.
