Creamy Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken fillet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Garnish

  • Finely chopped parsley

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small 1 cm cubes.

  2. In a pot, heat the butter, add the chicken, onion, and garlic, and stir until the chicken dries out but does not change color.

  3. In a bowl, combine milk, powdered milk, flour, cornstarch, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and salt, and mix with a hand whisk until well blended.

  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken.

  5. Stir gently with a wooden spoon until it boils, then reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes, adding water or milk if needed for desired thickness.

  6. Transfer the soup to a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
