Creamy Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 1 large chicken fillet
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
Garnish
- Finely chopped parsley
Preparation
Cut the chicken fillet into small 1 cm cubes.
In a pot, heat the butter, add the chicken, onion, and garlic, and stir until the chicken dries out but does not change color.
In a bowl, combine milk, powdered milk, flour, cornstarch, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and salt, and mix with a hand whisk until well blended.
Pour the mixture over the chicken.
Stir gently with a wooden spoon until it boils, then reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes, adding water or milk if needed for desired thickness.
Transfer the soup to a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
