Crunchy Shish Tawook
Ingredients
- 3 large chicken fillets
Spices
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground chili
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Coating mixture
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons liquid chili sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 chopped pickle cucumber
For frying
- corn oil
For serving
- potatoes
Preparation
Marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Beat the eggs in a bowl.
Coat the chicken pieces in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat corn oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken until golden and crispy.
In a separate bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well.
Serve the fried chicken with the prepared sauce and fried potatoes.
