Ingredients
- 1 packet puff pastry squares
- 1 tablespoon corn oil
- 1 chopped green onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 1 medium chopped sweet green pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For frying
- corn oil
Preparation
Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and let it come to room temperature.
In a wide skillet, add oil and heat it over medium heat.
Add chopped green onion and stir for a few seconds.
Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
Add cooked chopped chicken, chopped sweet green pepper, salt, black pepper, and mixed spices, then stir for a few seconds until mixed and let the mixture cool.
Add shredded mozzarella cheese and mix well with the chicken mixture.
Cut the puff pastry squares into smaller squares using a pizza cutter.
Take a small amount of the chicken and cheese mixture with your fingers, place it in the center of a pastry square, fold the pastry over the filling, seal it well, and shape it into a ball.
In a deep skillet, add corn oil to a depth of about 2 inches and heat over medium heat.
Fry the chicken puff balls in batches until they are golden brown.
Remove the fried balls with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve the chicken puff balls immediately with pickles and olives.
