Stuffed Cencaru Fish with Sambal
Ingredients
Blended sambal
- Onion
- Garlic
- Dried chili
- Ginger
- Lemongrass
- Turmeric powder
Additional sambal
- Turmeric leaf
- 1 grated coconut
Main
- Cencaru fish
Preparation
Sauté the blended ingredients until the oil separates and becomes fragrant.
Add the grated coconut and stir evenly until dry.
Add the turmeric leaf.
The sambal is ready.
Stuff the sambal into the slit back of the Cencaru fish.
Fry or grill the fish until cooked.
