Blue Spirulina Coconut Bliss Balls
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup raw cashews
- 1 tablespoon @fromthereserve blue spirulina
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 4-6 soft medjool dates (adjust for desired sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/8-1/4 cup water (adjust 1 tablespoon at a time)
Preparation
Add all ingredients except water to a food processor and mix on high until fully combined. Mixture should be fine and crumbly.
Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until a dough forms.
Once a dough ball forms, roll into 16 bite-sized balls. Alternate rolling these balls in extra spirulina or extra shredded coconut.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
Tips
Adjust the number of dates based on desired sweetness.
The amount of water needed depends on the softness and moisture of the dates.
