Banana and Chocolate Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g (1/2 cup) oats (gf if required)
- 2 tbsp plain or vanilla yoghurt (I used soya)
- 1/2 banana
- 2 chunks of chocolate (I used @pureheavenlychocolate)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder (gf if required)
- 2 tbsp sweetener
- 4 tbsp hot water
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 180C/ 350F/ gas mark 4.
Boil the kettle then pour hot water over oats in a bowl.
Stir then leave for 5 minutes to thicken.
Mash banana with a fork then add all of the remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix.
Spoon mixture into a shallow oven-proof dish, ramekin, or baking cup lined with baking parchment and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with custard. Use a dairy-free custard if preferred.
Tips
This recipe is gluten-free and vegan when using appropriate ingredients.
Can be served as a breakfast or dessert option.
