Chocolate Date Granola with Bananas and Oats

Ingredients

  • 2 cups jumbo oats (or any oats you have)
  • 2 over-ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder (cocoa is fine)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 2 tbsp water
  • handful chopped dates
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Preparation

  1. Mix 1 tbsp ground flax with 2 tbsp water and let sit for 5 minutes or until thickened.

  2. Combine all ingredients together.

  3. Bake on an oven tray at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crisp.
