Easy and Flavorful Miso Spinach
Ingredients
- 180g spinach
- Salt
- 1.5 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1.5 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Preparation
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the spinach in the boiling water for 45 seconds.
Remove the spinach from the water, drain, and rinse under cold running water until cool.
In a pan, roast the sesame seeds without oil.
Grind the roasted sesame seeds in a mortar, leaving some texture, and transfer them to a bowl.
Cook the mirin in a pan over medium heat for 30 seconds, then add it to the bowl of sesame seeds.
Add soy sauce, miso, and sugar to the bowl and mix everything together.
Squeeze out any excess water from the spinach.
Combine the spinach with the sauce, making sure it is well coated.
