Mulberry Cinnamon Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp dried mulberries
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/8 tsp or pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk

Preparation

  1. In a medium sauce pan, combine all dry ingredients including mulberries and coconut flakes and evenly mix

  2. Add in milk then bring mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened, between 3-5 minutes

  3. Remove from stove top and mix in mashed banana before serving

  4. Top with desired fruit, granola or nut butters
