Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Drink
Ingredients
- 2 cups hot unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 3 soft medjool dates, pitted
- 2-3 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Toppings
- 1-2 tbsp vegan marshmallows
- Cinnamon Stick
- Shaved chocolate
Preparation
Heat up the milk in the microwave for at least 1 minute until hot, or heat it on the stove top.
Combine the beverage ingredients in a blender and blend on high until completely smooth.
Pour the blended mixture into your favorite mugs.
Add the toppings to enhance the hot chocolate.
