Sugar-Free Energy Laddoos with Oats

Ingredients

  • 6 dates
  • 1.5 cups dry roasted instant oats
  • 1/2 cup coarsely ground flaxseeds
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cashews and almonds
  • Cashews for topping

Preparation

  1. Remove seeds from dates and soak in 2 spoons warm water for 1-2 hours

  2. Make a fine puree of the soaked dates in a mixer and transfer to a bowl

  3. In a mixing bowl, add 1.5 cups dry roasted instant oats

  4. Add 1/2 cup coarsely ground flaxseeds

  5. Add 2 tablespoons peanut butter

  6. Add 2 tablespoons chopped cashews and almonds

  7. Add the dates puree

  8. Add 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil and mix all ingredients well with hands

  9. Take some mixture and roll it into a round shape to form a laddu

  10. Place a piece of cashew on top of each laddu

Tips

  1. Chia seeds can also be used as an alternative

  2. Add other dry fruits as per your choice

  3. Store the laddus in the refrigerator for up to 7 days
